INGREDIENTS

    1/2 cup sauteed poblano peppers

    2 cups black beans (warmed up)

    1 teaspoon taco seasoning

    2 Flour Tortillas

    1 cup shredded Mexican Cheese

           Guacamole: Add a creamy and flavorful touch with a dollop of homemade or store-bought guacamole. The creamy avocado goodness pairs perfectly with the cheesy and savoury quesadillas.

           Sour Cream: Indulge in the tangy and cooling sensation of sour cream. A spoonful of sour cream adds richness and a delightful contrast to the flavours of the quesadillas.

Salsa: Kick up the heat and add a burst of freshness with your favourite salsa. Whether you prefer mild, medium, or spicy, the vibrant flavours of salsa complement the cheesy and savoury components of the quesadillas.

Direction

Begin with the filling. Simple black beans (warmed and combined with taco seasoning) and sautéed poblanos were used today.

Place the tortilla on a flat surface, then put 1/2 cup of the black bean mixture on top, sprinkle with sautéed poblano peppers, and top with cheese.

Place the tortilla on the air fryer tray or basket and cook for 5 minutes at 350°F on the air fryer setting, then flip and cook for another 3–5 minutes.

Plate, serve, and have a good time!

NOTES

After flipping the tortilla, I sprayed both sides with cooking spray (olive oil spray) to get the tortilla shell extra crunchy.
